Frozen Passover Dessert

Crust

5 oz macaroons or 1 bag Archway macaroons
2 T margarine
1/2 c chopped nuts (chopped coarsely, do not pulverize-will make them oily)
Put macaroons and margarine in food processor and chop. Add nuts and press
in bottom of spring form pan.
Bake 350    7 to 10 minutes until golden,
UNDER BAKE A LITTLE- DO NOT OVER BAKE ~ OR IT MIGHT GET HARD.

Filling

In mixer, put in the following
2 egg whites at room temperature
1 c sugar
2 c sliced fresh strawberries
1 T lemon juice
1 t vanilla

Cover bowl with shield and beat approx 10-15 minutes at high speed.
It will get thick and almost form peaks.
Pour into the spring form pan and freeze it until serving.
Wait a couple minutes to cut so crust will soften a little.
