Ginger Pot Stickers
Pot Stickers: Ginger Turkey
6 oz ground turkey
¼ C diced white onion
2 TBL minced ginger
1 TBL minced garlic
4 TBL finely diced green onion
1 tsp soy sauce
¼ tsp sesame oil
Pinch of salt and pepper
12 round wonton wrappers (I used square)
1 egg, whipped
Oil
In medium bowl, add the turkey, onions, ginger, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper. Mix together until thoroughly combined.
In medium sock pot, boil 2 quarts of water.
Place 1 TBL of the mixture in the middle of a wrapper. Brush the edges of the wrapper with the egg and fold in half. Pinch to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers.
Place wrappers in boiling water for 2 minutes, removed, and cool individually on cooling rack.
When ready for serving, heat sauté pan with some oil and sauté on med-high heat until the skin of the wrapper is browned.
Serve! I made this with a side of soy sauce for dipping. YUMMY!!!!
